First of all, we would like to thank you for the trust and opportunity you have given us by always using our package delivery services throughout Indonesia.
The shipping route from Java to Bali has been closed due to flash floods since Sunday, 16 October 2022. The floodwaters crossed the Jembrana bridge at the border, which was blocked by tree trunks, and the high floods caused long traffic jams.
The closure of this national road access was carried out together with the police to anticipate greater impacts, as the water level rose until it covered the bridge crossing area. Jembrana Police Chief AKBP I Dewa Gede Juliana said, “The road is temporarily closed because it is dangerous, the current is strong”. Because the main Denpasar - Gilimanuk road through Jembrana was cut off, traffic had to use an alternative route via Singaraja, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali. In addition, several points along the Denpasar - Gilimanuk route were also inundated by floodwater.
Therefore, on behalf of Sentral Cargo Management, we apologize and ask for the understanding of all Sentral Cargo customers for the delays in shipments to Bali as well as goods leaving Bali.
