Sentral Cargo Breaks the Fast with Children of the "Putra Setia" Orphanage
Sentral Cargo replaced its employee and management iftar gathering with a visit to the "Putra Setia" orphanage.
Jakarta, April 2023 - Sentral Cargo cancelled its iftar (fast-breaking) gathering for employees and management and replaced it with a visit to the "Putra Setia" orphanage, located at Jl. Kramat Sentiong No.51 11 6, RT.11/RW.6, Kramat, Kec. Senen, Kota Jakarta Pusat, DKI Jakarta, on the last day before the collective leave.
Marketing Manager Ali Susanto said the decision to cancel the iftar gathering followed suggestions from many employees and the entire board of directors.
"The joint iftar will be replaced with another activity: visiting and spending time with the orphaned children at the Putra Setia Orphanage, also in Jakarta," he said at Ruko ITC Mas Jakarta on 15 April 2023.
He said the visit is intended to help all employees get used to a simple lifestyle while also giving back, especially during Ramadan.
"We will visit the orphaned children in person as an expression of care and solidarity in the month of Ramadan 1444 H," he continued.
Ali Susanto explained that the decision on the iftar event was based on the agreement of all employees and the board of directors on 13 April 2023 in Jakarta.
