Bekasi - Sentral Cargo and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) initiated the birth of the first Digital Logistics Ecosystem in Indonesia through cooperation between the two parties.

Also witnessing the President Director of PT Pos Indonesia, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi and other management of PT Pos Indonesia on Wednesday (16/03/2022) at PT Pos Logistik Indonesia BO Bekasi, Bekasi City.

President Director of Sentral Cargo, Okie Octavia Kurniawan, emphasized that Sentral Cargo, which is engaged in the logistics business, focuses on bulky and multicoly shipments in the hope of being able to take the momentum of business growth in the logistics and shipping categories.

This collaboration will be the starting point for collaboration between two logistics companies to reduce logistics costs more efficiently and widely. This needs to be supported by the role of PT Pos Indonesia as one of the state-owned companies that is already very skilled in the field of shipping goods.

"Thank you for the opportunity given to us, this makes us proud to be part of the PT Pos Logistik Indonesia family as one of the largest logistics companies in Indonesia. In line with our vision of presenting a trusted integrated supply chain provider and logistics provider, this collaboration is our first step to integrate in achieving even greater expansion," said Okie Octavia as President Director of Sentral Cargo.

This digital logistics ecosystem will later combine several services, such as retail courier, logistics, and cargo. All services become one in an integrated platform. Of course, this aims to provide services that make it easier for people to use delivery services.

This collaboration will help in expanding the area of Sentral Cargo service points, which currently have 125 points with the hope of increasing to 800 points this year and growing to 1500 points in 2023. Not only that, the collaboration of these two shipping companies is also the beginning of a joint step to open new economy throughout the country.
